Ravenshead Live is pleased to be supporting Ravenshead Village Hall, a registered charity.
Ravenshead Live continues the long tradition of providing live music at Ravenshead Village Hall, which started in the early 1980s when The White Stetson began. This was traditionally a country music orientated promoter and was very successful until the team behind it retired in the mid to late 2010s. Live music was then promoted with a greater variety of music genres and tribute bands.
In addition to profits from Ravenshead Live ticket sales being donated to the registered charity, by also supporting the raffle and the Village Hall bar at these events, you are supporting a registered charity. The income from which is much needed to help maintain and develop the hall for the benefit of the village. Ravenshead Village Hall is the beating heart of village life and supports a village eco-system providing a safe and enjoyable space for various groups providing theatre, opera, dance, music, sports and U3A activities. It is a well used and busy hall.
The stage has quite a good lighting rig for a village hall, PA system and an understage changing room. The hall is air-conditioned and has a fully stocked licensed bar (which is reasonably priced) with cash and card payments. The car park is free of charge to use. Ravenshead is a safe place so there's no need for you to go into the city for an evening of good entertainment... come for a great night out in Ravenshead...at the hall with it all!
The most important point to make though is that everyone you see working on the bar, raffle and front of house are all volunteers. They provide their time for free to ensure the hall can operate and Ravenshead Live is very grateful to all of them for their support. Without this brilliant team of volunteers, none of these events can happen. So thank you all.
